Asking Why?

When somethings happen to us, when things are not moving the way we want, our natural response is to ask "Why? Why me?" I am in the season of being positioned in a place that I know God has His purpose for me. But, at this moment, the purpose has yet to be unfold. Many of us, naturally, will be frustrated and not doing anything unless God tells us A to Z reasons behind it. But, for me, this is a season where God wants to strength my faith in Him. To obey and to trust in Him, like Abraham, without knowing the full picture. Well, to some people, by saying that they do not know the answers to things that going on in there life seems to be something shameful, but to me, that's where we learn to be humble and dependant on God. Afterall, who is God? We, or God himself?

I identify with Joseph a lot. To many, at prime time of age, being in prison is not a glamour place at all. But Joseph, in his prison season, maintained a good attitude and hold on to God's promises and served faithfully at where he's being placed. He could have chosen to question God, be bitter and grumble over his apparent "waste of time and talent" in the prison. But he chose to trust God for this perfect plan and purpose, though I am sure at that moment of time, he did not have the full picture of everything.

Today worshop spoke to me a lot. Here's the lyric that I like to share with you:-

I will bring praise, will bring praise
No weapon formed against me shall remain
I will rejoice, I will declare
God is my victory and he is here

All of my life, in every season
You are still God,
I have a reason to sing
I have a reason to worship
