Food for Thoughts

“For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.” (2 Corinthians 5:14-15)  listen to chapter  (Read by Max McLean. Our National Day

Malaysian celebrated 51st Merdeka Day (Independent Day) yesterday. Yes, more than half a century. In The Star, lots of write-up in conjunction with the celebration. One was about our previous prime ministers: Tunku was a visionary and dreamer, Tun Razak was a planner and Tun Hussein Onn was an implementer. Another one was about inter-race marriages: testimonies, challenges and insights of the couples.Very interesting.

Many Malaysians have wishes and prayers for the nation. So, what's mine?
~ All Malaysians are bangsa Malaysia, without discrimination of races and religions
~ Greater depth in muhibbah spirit,
~ Economically revived and resource optimisation
~ Justice and righteousness prevails
~ Revolution in education system: more far-sighted and forward-looking, not regression.
~ Safety and peace for this land

Merdeka =Freedom, Independence. So, let it be, in all aspects: out of bondages, into freedom and independence. Happy Birthday, Malaysia!
